The spray tanning session takes about 30 mins. We will do a quick assessment of your skin for the desired colour application. You choose what you wear during your tan, from bathing suit, underwear to nude, whatever you most comfortable in will work. We will prep your skin with a pH balance spray, barrier cream and begin the spray tan. After, we will make sure you are dry and remove excess barrier cream from hands and feet. We are professional and discreet.

For the best spray tanning results follow these steps

1. Gently exfoliate your skin at least 12 -24 hours prior, to get rid of dead skin cells and have a even surface for the solution to stick to. 
2. Do your shave/wax 12-24 hours prior, manicure/pedicure before your spray tan. 
3. Come to your spray tan appointment with no creams, make up or deodorant on your skin. 
4. Wear loose dark clothes after your tan to keep your tan flawless. 

Spray tans last 5 to 10 days depending on your pre and post care. Pre care such as exfoliating and post care such as daily moisturizing with sulfa free lotion will help keep your tan longer. Anything harsh or chemical will wear away your tan more quickly.

Rapid spray tans should stay on 1 to 3 hours without getting wet or sweaty. Regular solutions should stay on 8 hours without getting wet or sweaty. Rise solution using only lukewarm water. Pat dry. MOISTURIZE. All solutions take 24 hours to develop to there full colour.

No, spray tanning solution doesn't have sun block in it. You should wear sunscreen when in the sun to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. Rub on sunscreen is the best to protect your skin and keep your spray tan lasting. TIP: Waterproof sunscreen will help keep your tan longer while in water. We do not recommend spray on sunscreens for your tan.

Note: We do not recommend a spray tan over an old peeling sun burn. Wait 2-4 weeks. 

We recommend after day 6-7 of your spray tan, you start lightly exfoliating your skin for a more even fade. Spraying over old spray tans can lead to an uneven, patchy tan.

We ask for 20% deposit for acuity bookings at the Whitby in studio. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.

Prep your teeth by keeping up with good dental hygiene before your appointment. On the day of your appointment gently brush your teeth to avoid irritating your gums. Also, try to drink water and non acidic foods, so your teeth are ready for the whitening solution.

We recommend  waiting about 6 months to do a touch up, if needed.
